‘Building Number 13’ wins award at US Frostbite filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Building Number 13’ has won award at Frostbite International Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Amir Gholami, the short film grabbed the Best Sound Design award of the American event.

The film has won awards at the Cap Spartel International Film Festival in Morocco and Ganado International Film Festival in Mexico.

"The film was honored for its poetic outlook and imagination, visual creativity, and its surrealistic atmosphere," said Parviz Jahed, head of the festival’s jury panel.

‘Building Number 13’ tells the story of human life in the sewage systems in which people from upper floors make their social environment dirty.

Frostbite International Film Festival is a monthly online festival with awards and live screenings. All winners will have a live screening in Colorado at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
